The Firm

How the chamber is organised, how it prepares a brief, and the forums it appears before.

The work divides into writ and appellate proceedings, that is, petitions under Articles 32 and 226, special leave petitions and appeals, and the original side: civil and commercial suits, arbitrations, and proceedings before the tax, money-laundering, environmental and insolvency tribunals. A large share of it concerns the State, whether as regulator, prosecutor, tax authority or contracting party.

Each matter is prepared from the record and the reported law. The chamber keeps its own bank of propositions drawn from the judgments it relies on, indexed by statute and provision, so that a point argued in one court is available, with its authority, in the next.
